Amanda Elizabeth Righetti has worked as an American actor since 1999. Her fame was gained through her role as the role of Special Agent Grace Van Pelt on CBS the police procedural series The Mentalist. Righetti was raised in Utah and always dreamt to be a performer. She began dancing at the age of four. The first time she appeared on the big screen in 1995, with Love and Happiness. In the smaller screen, she made her screen debut in CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a guest. Righetti began her professional career as a model at 14 years old. The following year, she relocated into Los Angeles and continued to portray small yet significant parts until she was offered the role as the recurring character Hailey Nichol in Foxs teen drama The O.C..
