Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was raised with her twin sisters and was regularly bullied at school because of her large thighs. Soon after finishing the elementary school level, Graham was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (A.D.H.D. ) However, she was able to overcome the condition and other personal obstacles throughout her childhood. A talent agent discovered Graham at the age of 12 in a Nebraska shopping center. In 2005, before graduating Lincoln Southwest High School she appeared in multiple magazines and billboards. In the early days of Graham's modeling profession, her physique meant it was difficult for her to find work. Graham was able to accept a number of catalog modeling offers over the years. But she was constantly told that it was impossible for her to progress past small projects. Sessions castings weren't right. Thankfully, her career took off swiftly. Sally Singer was the "Vogue Magazine" interviewer, who provided her with one of her first break-throughs in 2007. In 2009, she appeared on "Glamour magazine"'s "These Bodies Can Be Beautiful at Any Size" together with Sally Singer. At the time that the ad was removed from YouTube the video had already been viewed over 800,000. The issue became unbearable and she spoke out in the "Tonight Tonight Show" which was hosted by Jay Leno. Graham became famous quickly and became the most well-known and popular larger models. Grande was only a little girl when she began singing and acting. She was cast in the role of 13 on Broadway in 2008 and started appearing in smaller parts in TV series. In 2010, she received her big break when she was cast on the Nickelodeon series Victorious. She played Cat Valentine a teenage girl attending a performing art school.
