Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY, born on 17 March the 17th of March, 1988) also known as Grimes is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter, recording producer, and singer. Her first album has been described as extending into "lo-fi R&B" to futuristic dance-pop,[4] and has incorporated influences from electronic music hip hop, and rock. Her songs often incorporate science-fiction as well as feminist themes in her songs. Five studio albums have been made available by the group. Grimes came from Vancouver and later moved to Montreal. The singer began her solo career in the late 2000s. In 2010, she dropped two albums through Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. Following her signing with 4AD, she rose in fame by releasing Visions, her third studio album. Visions features the singles "Genesis," and "Oblivion". The album was awarded the Juno Award of the Canadian Music Industry for Electronic Album of the Years. Art Angels, her fourth studio album, came out in 2015. Several publications called it one of the greatest albums. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth album. Grimes as well as an actress and judge in Alter Ego's music contests, played a part as singer for Cyberpunk 2077 which was released in the year 2020. Georges Georges Grimes
