American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career with supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she was cast in the character as reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt. Also, she played a supporting part in FX's sluggish series The Ex List. In the first season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara in the role of a young Moira and in the following season, she was Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson's character on AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie was her role in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of a variety of characters on the animated comedy series Family Guy. Since 2019she has been appearing as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. They were able to move around for a year before they settled in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became interested in photography, acting as well as singing around the age of 13. When she turned 15, she relocated with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career
